At the counter
- A grid of your items to tap, with search, and a barcode scanner for packaged goods
- Add-ons with their own prices, such as an extra shot or oat milk
- Dine-in, takeaway and delivery, and one bill split across cash, UPI and card
- The UPI QR for the exact amount on screen, which works offline too
- Automatic offers, such as a happy hour or buy one get one, and coupon codes
- The bill on WhatsApp as a link, a picture or a PDF
In the kitchen
A KOT prints the moment an order is punched, with its notes, and items added later go out on a new KOT. More on KOT printing.
Your regulars
A khata with a limit, a prepaid wallet, and dues reminders on WhatsApp. More on customer khata.
At day end
A blind cash count, the shortage or excess, a Z-report, and every cancelled bill and KOT on record. More on till controls.
Your menu and its cost
Import your menu from a spreadsheet or a Zomato menu file. With a recipe, a drink or dish uses up its ingredients as it sells and shows what it costs to make; recipes come with some plans, as the pricing page shows.
Good to know
- Swiggy and Zomato orders are not taken in automatically: bill them at the counter, pick the platform and its order number, and reports split them out
- There is no kitchen display screen; KOTs print on the till's printer
- Tapvixo installs like an app from the browser on Android, Windows, Mac and iPad; there is no app-store app
- Bluetooth printing works from Chrome on Android and computers, not on iPhone or iPad
Questions
Can I bill from my phone?
Yes. Tapvixo runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and installs like an app.
What happens when the internet drops?
Cash, UPI and card bills, receipts and KOTs keep working, and sync when it's back. What works offline.
