Effective from 14 October 2026.
1. Who we are, and who you are
Tapvixo — this website and the app at pos.tapvixo.com — is provided by Tapvixo, a sole proprietorship registered as an MSME (Udyam), 7th Floor, 707, Naroda Business Point, Haridarshan Cross Road, Naroda Gam, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382330 (“Tapvixo”, “we”). “You” means the business that uses Tapvixo and every person who signs in for it.
By signing up, accepting an invite or using Tapvixo, you accept these terms and our Privacy Notice. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you may bind it.
2. The service
- Tapvixo is point-of-sale and billing software that runs in a web browser and installs like an app. There is no app-store app.
- Cash, UPI and card bills, receipts and kitchen order tickets keep working when the internet drops and are sent when it returns. Wallet and khata payments, returns, voids and the day-end close need a connection.
- We improve Tapvixo all the time and may change, add or remove any feature at any time. A change to the service does not entitle you to a refund.
3. Accounts
- Each person has one account, tied to their own WhatsApp number. You need WhatsApp on that number to sign up, to be invited and to reset a password by code.
- Keep your password and PIN secret, and do not share an account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used yours.
- A business has one primary owner, who decides its plan and billing. Its owners invite the people who work there and set what each may do. You are responsible for what is done under your business’s accounts.
4. The free trial
- The first business a person becomes primary owner of gets a free trial of a plan, for the number of days shown when it starts. One free trial per person, unless we offer another.
- We may change or stop the free-trial offer at any time, and refuse or end a trial that we believe misuses it. A trial already granted otherwise runs its course.
- A later business of the same person has no free period: it must buy a plan before it takes bills.
- When the trial ends, buy a plan to keep taking new bills; nothing is deleted.
5. Plans and prices
- Plans and add-ons, such as an extra outlet, are sold by the year, at the prices on our pricing page.
- We may change our prices at any time. A business that already holds a plan or add-on moves to a new price only at a renewal after our notice period, which we set; a period you have already paid for never changes price.
- Until Tapvixo is registered for GST, our invoices carry no GST. From the day a registration takes effect, GST is added as the law requires, and every payment gets our tax invoice.
6. Paying
- Each payment has a payment request with its own reference and amount, and its own payment page. You pay by UPI from your own app, and type the 12-digit UTR your app shows.
- While we check a renewal payment you have told us about, your business stays open for 3 more days. If we cannot find the payment, we tell you why on the payment page, and those days end.
- Money you send is never refused. If it is short of the amount, the rest stays due; if it is more, the extra becomes account credit.
- Account credit pays your next Tapvixo bills. It is not paid out in cash, except where the law requires it.
- Fees are not refundable, except where the law requires it or we agree in writing. This includes a period you stop using Tapvixo during, and an account suspended or closed under section 11.
7. When a plan lapses
- After a paid period or a trial ends, you have 7 days’ grace, with a countdown on the till.
- After the grace, from the start of your next trading day — never in the middle of a shift — the business cannot take new bills until it pays.
- Everything else keeps working: your reports, past bills, data export and the payment page. Bills taken offline before the lapse still reach us.
- A late payment alone never deletes your data. If a business stays unpaid for 12 months, we may close its account after telling its primary owner; its data is then handled as for a closed account, as our Privacy Notice describes.
- If your plan allows fewer outlets than you have open, the extra outlets become read-only from the start of a trading day. The primary owner picks which stay open.
8. Your data
- Your business’s records are yours. You let us store and process them to run Tapvixo for you, as our Privacy Notice describes. You can export your reports at any time.
- You are responsible for having the right to record your customers’ and staff’s details, and for using them lawfully.
- Tapvixo works out tax from the products, rates and settings you enter. You remain responsible for your own GST returns and for checking your bills and invoices. Tapvixo does not issue e-invoices (IRN).
9. WhatsApp messages
- We send codes and invite links on WhatsApp because you need them to use Tapvixo.
- Renewal reminders and payment links go only if the primary owner said yes, and alerts only to the numbers a business enters for them. Both can be turned off in Settings.
- WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own terms apply. We cannot promise that a message will be delivered.
10. Fair use
Do not use Tapvixo to break the law or to sell what the law forbids; try to reach another business’s data or get around our security; overload or copy the service; create accounts to get more than one free trial; or resell Tapvixo without our written agreement.
11. Suspension and closing
- We may suspend or close an account, at our discretion and without notice where needed, if it breaks these terms, misuses the free trial, puts other customers or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. We tell you why where we can.
- You can stop using Tapvixo at any time. What happens to your data then is in our Privacy Notice.
12. Availability
We work to keep Tapvixo running, but we do not promise any level of availability, and it may be interrupted. Updates can take it offline for up to a minute, and outages at our providers, your internet connection or your devices can stop it. Billing that works offline keeps going through most interruptions.
13. Our responsibility
- Tapvixo is provided as it is and as available, without any promise that it suits your business or is free of errors.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, business interruption, tax or penalties you owe, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for all claims together is limited to what your business paid us in the 3 months before the event the claim is about.
- You will make good any loss, fine or cost we suffer because of how your business uses Tapvixo in breach of these terms or the law, including the details it records about its customers and staff.
- Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not allow us to limit.
14. Complaints and disputes
- Complain to us first. Write to hello@tapvixo.com with what went wrong and what you want. We have 30 days to resolve it, and you agree not to start any proceedings against Tapvixo before then.
- Arbitration, not court. Any dispute about these terms or about Tapvixo that is not resolved that way is settled finally by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996: one arbitrator, seated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in English. Neither of us will take such a dispute to court, except to enforce the arbitrator’s award or for urgent interim relief.
- Your remedy. If you are unhappy with Tapvixo, your remedy is to stop using it. For any loss, our responsibility is limited as section 13 says.
- Indian law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away a right the law does not allow a contract to take away.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time by posting them here with a new date; a change applies from that date. We may also tell primary owners in the app or on WhatsApp. Using Tapvixo after a change applies means you accept it.
