Sell cakes by the piece and cookies by the kilo from the same counter. The cashier types the weight from the scale, Tapvixo prints the GST bill, takes the stock off as it sells, and keeps billing when the internet drops.
Selling by weight
Set an item to be sold by the kilo (or the litre)
Tapping it at the till asks for the weight, or for the amount the customer wants to spend, and the line shows the weight
Weights are kept to the gram, and tapping the weight changes it
Stock and recipes
Packaged items are counted as they sell, at each outlet
With a recipe, an item uses up its ingredients as it sells and shows what it costs to make; recipes come with some plans, as the pricing page shows
Write off what is damaged, expired or wasted, with the reason
At the counter
Good to know
Tapvixo does not connect to a weighing scale, and does not read the barcodes a scale prints: the cashier types the reading
There are no advance or custom cake orders with a deposit
There are no batches or expiry dates
Ingredients come off when an item sells, not when it is baked
Add-ons are not offered on items sold by weight
