Stock that moves as you sell

Every sale takes stock off the outlet that made it, including bills made offline once they sync. Goods received, what you owe each supplier, transfers between outlets and wastage are kept in one place, with a reason for every change.

Stock

  • Stock for each outlet, moved by every sale. Packaged goods are counted; a dish made to order doesn't have to be
  • Low and out-of-stock lists for each outlet, with a reorder level, and one tap to receive more
  • Adjustments with a reason: damaged, expired, wastage, theft or loss, a count correction, or stock found
  • Stock counts while the shop keeps selling
  • Your choice whether the till may sell an item below zero

Recipes and food cost

A dish can have a recipe: its ingredients come off as it sells, and the recipe shows what one portion costs to make, from each ingredient's latest purchase price. Recipes come with some plans; the pricing page shows which.

Suppliers and purchases

  • Goods received from suppliers, with free units and line discounts, and barcode scanning while you receive
  • Supplier payments, debit notes for goods sent back, and what you owe each supplier, with a statement
  • Reports for purchases, GST paid on purchases by rate, supplier rates that moved, and stock value at cost

Outlets

Transfers between outlets go in two steps, sent and then received, and any shortfall is recorded.

What it doesn't do

  • Stock and purchase work needs a connection; bills made offline still move stock once they sync
  • No purchase orders or automatic reordering
  • No batches or expiry dates
  • An ingredient costs what you last paid for it, not an average
